Artwork Description

Part of my urban mindfulness studies, this painting captures a bit of history and a bit of urban revival in one piece. As the Northshore area of Brisbane's original port district undergoes urban transformation, the old unused industrial tin sheds near the wharves remain and are now brightly painted to promote the redevelopment and Eat Street Market precinct. I love the coming together of the different colours, panels and materials in this picture - complete with all rustic knocks and scratches of the past.
