Original Artwork's Description

This textured, naive palette knife painting captures the peaceful essence of countryside life, offering a serene escape into nature. A man and his black dog enjoy a leisurely morning walk along a winding white ochre path, his morning newspaper tucked under his arm. The path stretches through olive green textured land , with warm orange patches adding vibrant detail to the landscape. In the distance, a tree marks the bend where the path disappears around a corner. On the right, a charming Irish cottage is nestled among low bushes. Beyond lies the coast, where the calm sea stretches to a distant horizon. A gentle hill rises on the left of the path, creating a sense of peaceful solitude. The soft grey sky sets the perfect tranquil tone, evoking the quiet relaxation of a countryside holiday. This painting is more than just a work of art—it’s an invitation to bring a slice of serene outdoor living into your home, one you’ll want to enjoy day after day.

Artist Bio

Thank you for taking the time to explore my work!
I'm an artist based on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, where I create in a variety of styles and mediums. My practice is rooted in a love for vibrant colour and expressive form, spanning from quirky naïve art and linocut prints to abstract works, portraits, surrealism, and impressionism. I work primarily with acrylics, oils, and rich oil pastels, allowing each piece to come to life with its own unique energy and personality.
