Artwork Description

A striking surrealist minimalist painting that captures the solitude and exhilaration of alpine adventure. At its centre, a lone skier in a red jacket glides gracefully down a white snow slope, creating a dramatic focal point against the painting's bold, simplified landscape.
The composition is framed by an olive-green expanse of land in the distance and a rich orange foreground, drawing the viewer's eye toward a captivating mountain beyond. The hill is adorned with an enchanting harlequin pattern of alternating orange and white shapes, while delicate washes of light blue suggest shadows drifting across its surface, adding depth and movement. Above, a soft pale blue sky completes the serene yet dreamlike atmosphere.
The skier, dressed in black pants and a black helmet, skis and poles poised in motion.
Perfect for skiing enthusiasts and lovers of alpine living. This piece has been protected with a Gamblin Gamvar Satin varnish.
