Artwork Description

Inspired by the rescued penguins at Phillip Island, Victoria. When oiled penguins are rescued and admitted to the Phillip Island Wildlife Clinic, knitted jumpers are temporarily placed on the penguins, acting as a barrier to prevent them from reaching their oily feathers with their beaks, before rescue staff are able to wash their body clean.

I'm an artist based on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, where I create in a variety of styles and mediums. My practice is rooted in a love for vibrant colour and expressive form, spanning from quirky naïve art and linocut prints to abstract works, portraits, surrealism, and impressionism. I work primarily with acrylics, oils, and rich oil pastels, allowing each piece to come to life with its own unique energy and personality.
