Cape Town’s iconic landmark, Table Mountain - one of the oldest mountains in the world - is breathtaking from every perspective. The mountain is bookended by Devil’s Peak to the east and Lion’s Head to the west, and a cloud that often covers the mountain is referred to as its tablecloth. The view from Robben Island is especially striking and, after the turbulent ferry ride from the mainland, I wanted to capture the beauty of this view, which contrasts so dramatically with the dark history of the island.
