Tjanpi with pale blue wool, pink/green raffia, green eyes, loopy ears
Tracey Yates is an artist belonging to the Ngaanyatjarra language and cultural group, and lives in the remote community of Warakurna in Western Australia, where she was born. Tracey is an emerging artist with Tjanpi Desert Weavers and enjoys making sculptural works, particularly kamula (camels) and papas (dogs). Tracey is also a painter with Warakurna Artists.
