Growing up in Tyabb on the Mornington Peninsula gave for many beautiful memories. My parents were more than happy for my sister's and I to explore the surrounding paddocks and dams near our property, which is where I think my artistic side came out. I would craft pots out of clay from the creek and make artsy patterns on the sides, I'd paint pictures on bark, and I would dry flowers to make homemade cards.
Nature has a huge impact on my artwork and I like to incorporate it where I can. I love to use the colours I see from flowers in my abstract artworks, replicate the blues & greens of the ocean and create pieces that have a forest feel. I also enjoy playing and experimenting with bright colours and sparkle which can be found in many of my pieces.
My preferred mediums are acrylic paints, inks and resin but I sometimes utilise other assorted mediums at times also. I feel blessed to still reside on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula with my own family now and continue my childhood love in creating interesting artworks.
