Tracy has only been painting for a few years and loves that creating art fills her brain so there is no room for the other noise.
She loves exploring new countries and galleries and is inspired by photos of places she has travelled then her paintings in turn trigger the positive memories. She started her painting journey at Murphys Creek Arts Centre where her watercolour was often was more colour, than water. Watercolour painting is a quick and unpredictable medium that is a reflection of Tracy’s attention span, and sometimes she assists nature with the hairdryer for the work to dry even faster. She has matured on to acrylics and has an affinity for painting oceans in thick texture with a pallet knife. She is still coming to terms with her relationship to green, but loves the effects created with ultramarine and sienna and the strength and purity of colour.

She surrounds herself with unusual art and objects that bring her joy as well as to those around her.
