Artwork Description

The Scene:
Time has worn the small, weathered wooden boat into a beautiful relic of the water. Flaking paint reveals dark, saltwater-soaked timber underneath. Scuffed wooden planks hold coiled, frayed hemp ropes. A lone sea gull taking advantage, gazing out across the salty water.
The jetty tells the story of many seasons spent facing the elements. Thick, crooked wooden posts with sun-bleached planks sitting unevenly, warped by years of shifting tides overlooking a glassy reflective surface that barely ripples with the rhythmic thump-thump of the hull against the wood.

Specifications:
Quality acrylics used giving long lasting rich pigmentation/lustre. Designed on acid free environmentally unbleached cotton duck, triple coated with universal primer, heavy duty stretcher bars were used to reduce warping.
Protective Matte Varnish applied. Signed by the artist and ready to hang.

Artist Bio

"AN EVER CHANGING PALETTE OF COLOUR INFUSED WITH ENERGY AND MOVEMENT THROUGH PAINT AND TEXTURE”

Exploring original techniques from different angles is nothing new to me, seeking to innovate, think outside the box, add extra visual appeal. Just as aspects of life evolve, so does the world of art. I strive to align my artistic ideas and creative abilities with today's trends, to explore new concepts and ideas. My studio is my sanctuary - a place where I can let my imagination run wild. Experimenting with various mediums and materials, as well as applying texture, makes the creative process even more enjoyable. After all, this is why I paint - because of the creative freedom it gives me.

When working on canvas, I bring my art "to life" through texture, creating depth adding an interesting visual perspective. Preferring to work with Acrylics, at times, I incorporate other mediums to enhance the visual experience. Although my work fits seamlessly into contemporary settings, it also feels at home in offices, foyers, or reception areas.

My canvas art can be framed behind glass or shown as is on its high-quality wooden frame.
