The Humpback whale is a gentle giant of the ocean. They are admired worldwide. They are intelligent, sensitive and kind. Their sense of community is sophisticated. “Staying close” symbolises that when you are little, staying close to mum is comforting.

Physical mark making on 2 dimensional surfaces has been a life long pursuit. I am constantly experimenting in my artistic practice. Started painting at an early age. Studied at ATI achieving a 3 year Diploma in Graphic Design between 77-79. Student of Ray Dowling and Ken Robinson. 82 freelanced commercially. Lived in Europe from 84-86. Studio in Stockholm. Designer for 17 years in Sydney. Moved to Tamborine Mountain 02. Work is represented in collections over Europe, USA and Australasia. Awards: HC at St Bernards Art Prize.
