The idea was inspired from Richard Serra’s sculpture, Ali-Fraser. 2, 10 ton iron blocks side by side.
These 2 Titans of the ocean are in port waiting to go back and do their work.! Not competing as such, albeit flexing their collective power.

Physical mark making on 2 dimensional surfaces has been a life long pursuit. I am constantly experimenting in my artistic practice. Started painting at an early age. Studied at ATI achieving a 3 year Diploma in Graphic Design between 77-79. Student of Ray Dowling and Ken Robinson. 82 freelanced commercially. Lived in Europe from 84-86. Studio in Stockholm. Designer for 17 years in Sydney. Moved to Tamborine Mountain 02. Work is represented in collections over Europe, USA and Australasia. Awards: HC at St Bernards Art Prize. RJ Ambler Portrait prize QLD RNA 06. 2nd Landscape in D’arcy Doyle Art Awards: 06 +10. Finalist Stanthorpe 08.
