“Translational flow I” is a work from North Stradbroke water series, focusing on moody oceans. My love affair with the ocean, mainly through many years of surfing, comes to the fore.
I have spent countless hours sketching and photographically recording the moods of the sea at North Stradbroke. I take into my studio all the senses of those experiences. A huge 5 metre swell was running that morning.
