I believe that life begins when one ventures out of their comfort zone. I like to challenge myself constantly by acknowledging the inertia of living in my comfort zone and always pushing to move beyond - if even in a small way. In this piece I've explored a palette which I hadn't previously used on a large-scale painting as well as pushing to let go of inhibiting beliefs and values.
I find the colors and composition to be calming and harmonious with a hint of chaos - for interest! To me they represent optimism and renewal.
