Lines in Nature 2

This painting is part of a series exploring lines in nature, how lines are created or witnessed in nature such as shorelines, horizon lines, waves, coastlines, skylines and more. In this series I have attempted to capture the beauty of this natural phenomena.

I am an artist based in Perth, originally from regional Western Australia.

For as long as I can remember I have been a wanderer and a dreamer, with a great love of nature. My current art practice reflects an ongoing response to my everyday environment and a desire to experiment with colour and materials. Walking, photography and sketching are my main methods of gathering source material. Combined with memory and imagination, I develop works using watercolour, gouache, acrylic paint and an assortment of drawing materials.
