DAHLIA MAGENTA is an original artwork by Tushti O’Connell aka myself 😊.
It is a unique, one of a kind multidirectional style canvas.
DAHLIA MAGENTA was created using different techniques combined to enable enhanced flow, blending and separation of colours to create mesmerising patterns where pops of colour can be seen emerging from underneath. This creates delicate lacing and cells to the artwork creating an interesting and one of a kind painting that can never be replicated. On top of the fluid acrylics base, beautiful abstract petals have been drawn and painted reminiscent of the Dahlia Magenta Star flower, giving it a unique, quirky vibe.
A variety of acrylic pigments were used including crimson, magenta, carmine, cobalt blue, ochre, metallic gold and silver, pearl white and titanium white.
The metallic gold used reflects light beautifully during the daytime and nighttime which really brings the painting and the space to life.
**Painting continues on the sides so there is no need to frame. But can also be placed in a frame according to individual preference.
