Drift Staircase

Returning to the place where I grew up, a rainy city surrounded by hills and close to the ocean. The paintings are an impression of that return, informed by memory, by photographs I once took, and by the weight of its humid subtropical air. Drift reflects my personal feeling of traces now and then.
