The painting captures the timeless beauty of Lord Krishna, the lore of his wisdom are encapsulated in Bhagvad Gita- A Sacred Hindu text. Creating this work during the peak of pandemic helped me cope with personal loss and grief. Looking at him smile upon me, gave me strength and peace in difficult times.

Usha Bachhil is a contemporary realist full-time artist living in Sydney. who paints
predominantly in oils, her preferred method of working is primarily from life under
natural light and shadow. Drawing and painting has always seemed magical for her
especially being able to capture lighting and mood.
Usha’s work explores the beauty of still life from objects and things around her life. She
focuses on capture the beauty and simplicity that we normally overlook and rarely
appreciate. Much of her work uses balanced composition with a sense of tranquility. She
also enjoys exploring other subject matters such as flowers, animals, figure, landscape
using different mediums.
