Artwork Description

This painting captures a moment in a sunlit garden where oranges picked from a heavy tree join a pink rose in a steel vase. The mix of colours and textures creates a peaceful scene worth remembering. In the curve of the steel vase, a reflection of my house appears - a glimpse of windows, a porch, and trees beyond. The arrangement reflects light like facets of memory, blending the garden's beauty with echoes of a place. This still life invites pause, connecting the viewer to quiet moments where memory and reflection meet. Also this painting is finalist painting in Hornsby Art prize.
