Artwork Description

Inspired by the quiet beauty of a Northern Territory shoreline, this painting captures the soft curve of the coast as it meets gentle rolling waves under a bright, open sky. The scene reflects the calm stillness of an NT beach. Wide, untouched, and full of quiet warmth. It invites the viewer to linger in the peaceful rhythm of the tide and the feeling of standing alone on a stretch of sunlit sand

Artist Bio

I am an Australian artist based in the Northern Territory. My work is influenced by close observation of my surroundings, particularly the Australian landscape and native wildlife. I’m drawn to moments of quiet presence in the natural world and aim to capture a sense of place rather than spectacle.
I primarily work in acrylic on canvas, using the medium for its colour depth and versatility. My practice is grounded in realism, with a focus on fine detail, texture, and light.
I have previously exhibited work with the Territory Wildlife Park in Darwin.
