Cultivated Calm

My inspiration comes from the plants in my studio as they are quiet, peaceful spectators while I am painting. Plus if I look after them they actually keep growing. . Also on a side-note are you aware that many of our plants help with the air that we breathe in? Apparently, they absorb some of the nasties that we have in the air.
This art will be happy in a kitchen , bedroom or a small corner to bring a sense of quiet in our busy world.
I used acrylic paint applied in thin layers .

I believe life is too short to paint in just one medium. Curiosity inspires my creative journey, whether I’m working in watercolour, acrylic, oils or mixed media.

Nature is my greatest teacher. I find inspiration in the quiet moments that often pass unnoticed—a weathered gum tree, the stillness of water, balanced stones, the beauty of wildlife, or the colours found in everyday life.
