Inspiration came during my first outback visit and explored Mutawintji National Park. The colours and the rocky river bed with the different textures enticed me to keep following the river . Suddenly a beautiful reflection in some still water appeared and the rest is history.
This painting will suit most rooms with its peace, beautyl and colour. The reflection in the water is truly breathtaking.
Windsor and Newton watercolours plus a little bit of Gouache White was used on a gorgeous Arches rough watercolour 350 gsm. To be true to the beautiful rough edges of the Arches paper the painting is float mounted on a white matte board under glass surrounded by a Black Frame.
