Outback Sky

As evening approaches in Tibooburra, the Outback transforms into a realm of serene beauty. The vast landscape stretches endlessly under a sky just about to leave it's blue and turn into hues of gold and crimson, casting a warm, rustic glow over the rugged terrain.

I painted this with my back to the setting sun capturing the shadows elongate across the timeless land, highlighting the solitary beauty of the scattered rock formations. The expansive horizon seems to invite a deep sense of peace, as the day's heat dissipates and the cool evening breeze begins to whisper through the landscape.
I chose to paint on stretched linen allowing the warmth and texture to surround the painting. The painting was completed in my studio.
