I am a self taught artist from Adelaide, South Australia. I started painting at the age of 13 when I was given a second hand set of acrylic paints. I learnt to paint through trial and error and I was always happy to experiment with new ideas and techniques. I never liked the thought of limiting myself to a particular style. Today I am very much the same. Still experimenting and constantly learning new things.

I am inspired by all things nature but particularly floral and botanical themes. My work fluctuates between realism and abstract. I work in primarily in acrylic but I can also use a variety of mixed media including soft pastel, collage and paint markers. I love creating work using bright, vibrant colours, texture and pattern, However, I think my biggest inspiration is a blank canvas. To me it represents endless possibilities. My goal when I paint is to create something that the viewer can get lost in and hopefully inspire their imagination.
