Vanessa creates scenes that explore colour, shape and texture.

Keeping up appearances is painted in a lovely calm retro palette. The greenery of the monstera bouncing off the warm colours, creating a balance of shapes, texture and line work.

Vanessa's paintings are a celebration of the everyday moments in life and remind us that there is beauty in small things.

I'm Vanessa, a Melbourne based artist.

I am obsessed with plants, interiors and painting.

My work features an eclectic mix of found objects, textures and fabrics, to create compositions that are a toast to the everyday enjoyment of life.

Vanessa studied art and design but is mostly a self taught painter and has exhibited in group shows around Australia. A finalist in the Weswal Gallery 'Inty' Interior Art Prize 2024 and 2025, the Art to Art Unearthed Art Prize 2024 and 2023, and named Directors Choice winner at Aspire Gallery, 2022. Vanessa's work can be found at Artlovers Australia, Collingwood, online with Bluethumb art, and in a number of retail stores around Australia.
