Memories of picnics and elaborate parties at my nans house. My lovely eccentric Nan always had fancy dinners with the most ornate dinnerware, vases, and linen. It was so devine. Nan grew up with not a lot so she loved nothing more than showering everyone with food, and gifts and parties.

My favourite part was the mismatched dinnerware & champagne flutes 🥂

I'm Vanessa, a Melbourne based artist.

I am obsessed with plants, interiors and painting.

My work features an eclectic mix of found objects, textures and fabrics, to create compositions that are a toast to the everyday enjoyment of life.

Vanessa studied art and design but is mostly a self taught painter and has exhibited in group shows around Australia. A finalist in the Weswal Gallery 'Inty' Interior Art Prize 2024 and 2025, the Art to Art Unearthed Art Prize 2024 and 2023, and named Directors Choice winner at Aspire Gallery, 2022. Vanessa's work can be found at Artlovers Australia, Collingwood, online with Bluethumb art, and in a number of retail stores around Australia.
