Still Life Piece - Freshly Squeezed

Definitely my all time favorite piece for this show that I have created. I might even go as far as saying it’s my favourite artwork I have ever created 🤩The lovely creaminess of the blues and greens, the antique white linen with the soft pastel green stripe, the beautiful plump lemons off our neighbours tree. Everything just reminds me of fresh summer evening dinners ☀️

I'm Vanessa, a Melbourne based artist.

I am obsessed with plants, interiors and painting.

My work features an eclectic mix of found objects, textures and fabrics, to create compositions that are a toast to the everyday enjoyment of life.

Vanessa studied art and design but is mostly a self taught painter and has exhibited in group shows around Australia. A finalist in the Weswal Gallery 'Inty' Interior Art Prize 2024 and 2025, the Art to Art Unearthed Art Prize 2024 and 2023, and named Directors Choice winner at Aspire Gallery, 2022. Vanessa's work can be found at Artlovers Australia, Collingwood, online with Bluethumb art, and in a number of retail stores around Australia.
