Where you would climb gnarled knobbly trees to pick ripe, juicy pears for a delicious, slurpy, juice running down your chin snack before wiping your sticky fingers on your clothes and racing back to join in the next game.

This painting showcases the curvaceous shapes of these luscious fruits, skin dappled green and blushed with gold – almost ready to pick. It brings back those feelings when life was simple, and days seemed endless with possibility and adventure.
