To me, abstract art is about personal interpretation. How each individual resonates with a piece, whether it’s conjuring a memory or highlighting an emotion. For me to describe any piece of my art would be to alter your ability to do so - hence this description essentially being an invitation. An invitation for you to experience and enjoy how you feel about the art. Whatever your answer is, you’re right.
"CELLULAR" is from a collection of Vanessa's work which holds her signature texture "Oriental Scribe" beneath the already very unique, abstract, black and white style she embodies in this piece. She wanted to create her own identifiable signature that would enable an immediate recognition for her work.

Artwork Description
Artist Bio
I have always by nature had a passion for creating art through multiple different mediums. Paint, photography, sketch and digital. I gravitate mostly toward the abstract of all things, as this allows the freedom of each piece to be uniquely understood and interpreted by the viewer, without direct instruction or intrusion to the true nature of the piece; from each person’s individual perspective and experience.
My current focus is large scale abstract paintings, abstract photographic and digital images. I have a studio on the Gold Coast, Australia, where I paint and when I'm away from home (as travel is a large part of my life), I am able to take my skills on the road with me and find my art and creativity through the photographic work I produce. To me that is everything, as it enables me the freedom and flexibility in my work and career that fulfils my adventurous spirit as well as continuing to produce new work consistently.
