Hailing from Byron Bay and now living in Brisbane, I have spent my life engrossed in arts industries and creative adventures.
The events of last few years has caused a renewed passion in me making for myself rather than retail product. With a shift from my long loved ceramics practice, I feel renewed in creating colourful still life paintings inspired by the beauty of flora and the everyday.
I began my professional life as a Graphic Designer working for advertising agencies both in Australia and the UK and now hold separate tertiary qualifications in Design, Visual Arts, and Primary Education.
With a lifelong love of the arts and a passion for arts education, I began my own business, Artfolk, in 2016. Offering creative workshops and events to individuals and communities, I have had the great pleasure of workshopping for amazing businesses such as Woodford Folk Festival, Mind Body Spirit Festival, Brisbane Stitch & Craft Show, Sheridan Australia, Ipswich Libraries, The Market Folk and many more.
