Artwork Description

In creating this artwork, I wanted to explore the harmony of nature and the concept of growth through an abstract and cubist lens. The vibrant tones and overlapping geometric shapes symbolize the dynamic and interconnected lifecycle of a round object- apple. Each colorful segment represents a unique element of the ecosystem, intertwining to reflect the beauty and complexity of life. This piece invites joy and energy into any space, enhancing the surroundings with its vivid playfulness and thought-provoking structure.

Freshly done, will take 2-3 weeks to dry before dispatching.

Artist Bio

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to visit my page!

I am a self-taught artist based in Perth, Western Australia. My work is rooted in Impressionism, with a strong focus on landscapes, while also allowing space for experimentation with abstract and minimalist figurative forms.

I have been painting since childhood, and over time my style has evolved into a blend of classic Impressionist techniques and modern vibrancy. While largely self-taught, I have taken classes and workshops with various artists over the years and continue to study and learn through ongoing instruction. I primarily work with oil on canvas and wood panels, using varied underpainting methods and thick, textured brushstrokes to capture the shifting moods of nature.

I draw inspiration from the diverse landscapes of Western Australia — from bright, open beaches to the deep blues of the Indian Ocean. Alongside landscape painting, I also explore abstract minimalist and figurative art as a way to celebrate Australian nature beyond literal representation.

My aim is not only to express what I see, but what I feel — translating light, movement, and emotion into color and texture.
