This art work was created en plain air. It was during the Crab Festival in the touristic town of Mandurah in Western Australia. Every year people gather to eat some crabs, enjoy the nice weather, try a new sport and buy local produce and handcrafted products. The girl in the painting is from the Mandurah sailing club, the kids were taking tourists out on the water. I tried to capture the light and vibrancy of the experience.
