In Solitude

Nature and its beautiful phenomenons have the power to make a person totally still and present. I hope the viewer can feel the blissful solitude while viewing this painting. The stillness in the waters is also a symbolism of the stillness within.

Born in India and having spent considerable years in USA , I now reside in Melbourne .
I have been a hobby artist most of my life and my home has always been flooded with my paintings . I have been majorly self taught, but have been fortunate to be with some good artists from whom I have learnt new perspectives.
I have been painting mainly in oil and acrylic, but once in a while I do venture in watercolour and inks.
Nature in all its forms absolutely mesmerises and inspires me to paint. My paintings are a humble attempt to capture the beauty of creation and I wish to share this love for creation through my paintings.
