I am inspired by the shapes and patterns which are created when light falls on forms such as the petals of delicate flowers. By focusing on smaller parts of an object‚ rather than the whole of an image‚ I am constantly discovering new contours and patterns which materialise within the subject.
I enjoy the works by many artists including Renoir and Monet‚ Georgia O'Keeffe and Margaret Preston
