Originally inspired by years spent between New England USA and Australia, my paintings reflect a fascination with nature's ability to transform through light, color and season.
Now based in Melbourne, I create textured acrylic works that celebrate both the abundance of blooming gardens and the quiet stillness of water landscapes. My practice is rooted in observation, but guided by memory and emotion, allowing each painting to move beyond representation and towards atmosphere.
Using layered acrylic paint, palette knife work and expressive brushstrokes, I create richly textured surfaces that reveal subtle shifts in colour and light. Whether painting flowers, foliage or floating water lilies, I am interested in capturing a feeling rather than a precise moment.
My work is intended to bring a sense of softness, calm and connection to interior spaces, offering a contemporary interpretation of the natural world through colour, texture and movement.
Each artwork is an original, hand-painted acrylic on canvas, signed and professionally finished with a protective varnish.
