Artwork Description

'Daisy Daze' painting captures a serene moment in time, showcasing the gentle elegance of pale pink daisies. Each bloom is delicately rendered, with soft brushstrokes that suggest their fragile petals swaying in a light breeze. The impressionist style brings a sense of movement and life to the composition, as if the daisies are whispering secrets of the garden.

The textured pale blue-grey background serves as an understated yet dynamic backdrop, enhancing the blossoms' subtle beauty. The interplay of light and shadow adds depth, inviting viewers to step closer and lose themselves in the tranquil harmony of nature depicted on the canvas.

This artwork evokes a feeling of calm and contemplation, a perfect reflection of nature's quiet splendor.

Artist Bio

My interest in art was piqued while I was a very young child, sitting and watching my father create his artworks, mostly the Australian landscape. While I love the multi-faceted beauty of artistic creativity, my passion lies in the field of decorative art, expressionist and impressionist styles.

With more than thirty-five years’ experience as an artist I have been inspired by many sources including: the decorative arts movement, nature, cultural heritage and impressionism. My art is a celebration of eclectic creativity and expression, and whether it’s a vibrant abstract piece or a serene landscape, every artwork tells a unique story that resonates on a personal level.

While proficient in a variety of mediums my true medium love is acrylic. I always use the most excellent archival quality acrylic paint and mediums in all my artworks to ensure vibrant colors, lasting durability, that truly brings my creative vision to life.

My art has been exhibited and sold in many Sydney cafes and art exhibitions. My Trompe Loell and other artworks have been featured in Hospital wards in Sydney and Hobart, as well as the Decorative Artist magazine, and have garnered appreciation from art enthusiasts and collectors alike. I am dedicated to pushing the boundaries of artistic expression and continually evolve and experiment with new techniques and styles.

All my artworks are signed (the year is hidden within the painting) and come with a certificate of authenticity.

Each piece of canvas art is finished on the sides, sealed on the back with protective covering, and ready to hang.
