This large original painting was created with a happy heart and memories of Summer at the beach. Long hot, sunny days with family and friends spent beside the ocean enjoying a swim, delicious summer fruits and fresh salty air.

A piece that invigorates the soul, with plenty of abstract detail throughout. An earthy colour palette of brown, orange & blue dominate this piece. Painted on high quality stretched canvas, this painting also comes ready to hang. Framed in a beautiful custom made natural timber frame. Varnish has been applied to finished painting to seal and protect it from UV exposure and dust.

Artist signature is on back of artwork. Also comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Artist Bio

About the Artist: Virginia Hendren

Virginia Hendren’s creative journey began in the wild beauty of Far North Queensland, where rainforests, beaches, and creeks sparked her lifelong bond with nature. This connection continues to shape her art, with the land’s textures, colours, and untamed spirit deeply influencing her work.

Rooted in the Australian landscape, Virginia’s paintings explore more than just natural beauty—they capture the land’s quiet energy, spiritual presence, and stories. She views nature as a living force, and her art becomes a bridge between the visible world and the deeper, intuitive realm. Her work is a personal reflection of experiences in the landscape, blending memory, emotion, and intuition.

Travel, both across Australia and abroad, has enriched her perspective, inspiring compositions layered with texture, line, and colour that echo nature’s rhythm. Each piece is a visual diary—an exploration of thought, emotion, and transformation in the moment of creation.

Music also plays a vital role in her process, guiding her hand with rhythm and feeling. By translating sound into spontaneous movement, Virginia creates from instinct, allowing her art to flow freely and honestly. The result is a body of work that feels alive—expressive, soulful, and deeply connected to the unseen.
