Amorphous Landscape II

This is one of the paintings of my new series “Amorphous Landscapes”. I let my imagination carry me to the landscapes of my dreams. Acrylic is directly poured,smeared, scraped on the unprimed fabric and then the shapes are redefined with more coats of paint. I like how the fabric absorbs paint and the effect and vivid colours it creates.
The painting is sealed with varnish and is signed on the back.

Virna Mulino is a Melbourne-based classically trained artist working mainly with acrylics and watercolour with a passion for lino cuts and fiber.
