Based in Sydney Australia, I was born in Capetown South Africa and moved to Australia when I was 6 years old. I've always loved art, but never really thought much more of it until I needed some art for my home, so I decided to give it a go and see if I could paint it myself and that's how my journey started.
I've always been attracted to bright colours and feeling that sense of warmth when looking at them, and I guess that is what has inspired me to paint and to use the colours that I use.
I also love texture which is very evident in all my paintings. People tend to want to feel and touch my paintings as they are very tactile and full of life.
If my paintings can make you feel good, feel engaged in the colours I use, evokes a sense of emotion that calms you, or stirs you curiosity, then from my perspective I've created a connection, and for me that's something very special.
