Walnut Street is a typical small Richmond street except for the public artwork commissioned by the council in 2015. The road surface was painted to signify the changed use of the street to a shared pedestrian/car
thoroughfare.
The street itself is not iconic, but it is indicative of the blend of old and new, quirky and quaint, eclectic mix of present day Richmond.
The skipping Girl Audrey, however, is iconic and is timeless in this contemporary setting.
