Artwork Description

This image was taken in a backstreet in Adelaide, the amazing thing is that it will never be able to be seen again as it now has a multi story building in front of it, so it can NEVER be replicated or copied. This image was chosen from thousands of other images from other incredible photographers to be the front cover of the 2018 hard back Photographic Yearbook, which is a beautifully printed hardback and is sold worldwide.
I photographed this building because of the ART sign against the gritty cement wall with all of the air conditioners cascading down the middle, I have purposely processed this image in black and white to achieve a dynamic hard edge effect, it really looks spectacular on the right wall. I can arrange to have this image enlarged to any size that you prefer, but would have to charge more accordingly for the extra costs of a larger print. If you are interested in this or any other questions please feel free to contact me.

Artist Bio

Hi,
I just don't just point my camera and click, and presto you can see a photograph. I process my photographs as a work of ART, and they are often images that can never be replicated. I see them as a"one off", a unique perspective of the world around us. If you see an image that you like please click on it twice and by clicking it will enlarge the image, you can see the fine detail and the beautiful shapes, colours and textures.
I use a Nikon D850 camera and the very best Nikon lenses, an Eizo ColorEdge CG 27/30 monitor specially calibrated for printing photographs. I use an Epson Stylus Pro 3880 ( A2 ) printer and only use Fine Art paper of the highest quality made by Hahnemuhle and is a matte finish, this company has been around since the mid 1500's.
I love abstract design in photography especially architectural abstract as I am attracted to shapes, colours and textures. My photographic ethos is that there is beauty almost everywhere, we just have to open our eyes to see and discover it..
My greatest achievement in photography is to have had one of my images that was taken in Adelaide to take the entire front cover of the 1x.com 2017 Yearbook. This is a hardback book that is sold all over the world and exhibits the work of some of the worlds best photographers.
