Artwork Description

This scene was taken in Venice and shows how all of the residents receive their goods, as there are no roads, everything is delivered by small boats . This was taken very early in the morning before all the tourists set out to discover the many beautiful sights that Venice has to offer. The colours are incredible showing the stunning reflections and how time has weathered the original surfaces, which adds to the charm of this iconic city. The Hahnemuhle Fine Art Paper gives a beautiful painterly effect. All of my photographs are processed on an Eizo Color Edge monitor, guaranteeing a perfectly calibrated colour result.

Artist Bio

Hi,
I just don't just point my camera and click, and presto you can see a photograph. I process my photographs as a work of ART, and they are often images that can never be replicated. I see them as a"one off", a unique perspective of the world around us. If you see an image that you like please click on it twice and by clicking it will enlarge the image, you can see the fine detail and the beautiful shapes, colours and textures.
I use a Nikon D850 camera and the very best Nikon lenses, an Eizo ColorEdge CG 27/30 monitor specially calibrated for printing photographs. I use an Epson Stylus Pro 3880 ( A2 ) printer and only use Fine Art paper of the highest quality made by Hahnemuhle and is a matte finish, this company has been around since the mid 1500's.
I love abstract design in photography especially architectural abstract as I am attracted to shapes, colours and textures. My photographic ethos is that there is beauty almost everywhere, we just have to open our eyes to see and discover it..
My greatest achievement in photography is to have had one of my images that was taken in Adelaide to take the entire front cover of the 1x.com 2017 Yearbook. This is a hardback book that is sold all over the world and exhibits the work of some of the worlds best photographers.
