The natural environment we live in is reliant on the interplay of the elemental forces, most of which we experience in a direct way, wind, rain, storms, fire and flood. We rarely think of the unseen movement of streams and the underlying ecology of soil health and the microbiome. This work is a meditation on the relationship between above and below the surface, the unseen streams and ecologies that exist beneath the earth under our farms, towns and cities upon which we are all reliant in some manner or other.
