I was born and raised in the northern part of China, and my education equipped me with all the skills and knowledge to pursue a life of professional artist. I, however became a high school teacher in Australia and art making turned out to be my life long passion, instead of my profession. My artworks are done during the break times at school, reflecting all the common but exciting elements of my life and demonstrating a unique perspective from a person who constantly adjusting herself to the contrasts between East and West.
