INSPIRATION:

This stunning collaged abstract of tree bark during seasonal change contains three specially selected images as a limited edition that will look amazing in the right space styled to suit and will surely bring a unique and calming element of nature into your home or office. Great for those who have many favourites and cant decide when looking through the Tranquility Collection.

This photographic fine art print is part of a series called 'The Tranquility Collection' that highlights the natural beauty, colours and textures of nature observed through natures seasonal change. This series explores our connection with our natural environment and the calming balance that nature can bring to one’s life by simply taking the time to look beyond just a quick glance.

Through regularly spending time on my own and simply wandering through Australian native bushland with my camera in hand, I discovered the beautiful vibrant colours, textures and fragility that existed within tree bark. I became Inspired and intrigued by the vibrant colours caused through seasonal change, weather, and lighting that created visually interesting and simply beautiful abstract images.

Over time my collection of images started to build until it eventually became a passion where I started to pursue developing the collection and wanting to share it with others to show them too how naturally amazing and beautiful nature is when you take the time to immerse yourself in it.

All of my individual tree bark works have a philosophical positive healing descriptor to them specific to how the image makes me feel.

I shoot all my images as macro high-resolution images and photoshop them to remove any imperfections with the aim of highlighting the natural abstract beauty of nature while still maintaining the image to be as true as possible to its natural state.

This Archival Giclée print looks amazing when printed large and professionally framed.
This photograph is professionally printed onto 310gsm Cotton Rag Paper

The quality of this piece will last for years to come.

Artist Bio

Wendy Fogarty
Abstract Nature-Inspired Artist | Wollongong, NSW

Wendy Fogarty is a contemporary visual artist whose abstract works are deeply inspired by the raw, ever-changing beauty of Australia’s diverse landscapes. Drawing from a lifelong passion for photography, design, and a close connection to nature, Wendy transforms her observations—whether it’s the pigmentation of the sky, reflections in water, or the textures of tree bark and sand—into captivating abstract art that radiates tranquility and harmony.

Wendy’s creative process begins outdoors, exploring and photographing the organic environment. In her studio, she reimagines these moments through colour grouping and abstraction, working across a range of mediums including fine art giclée prints, Chromaluxe aluminium, canvas mixed media, and printed textiles. Each piece invites viewers to look beyond the surface, encouraging reflection and inner calm.

Her collections—such as the ‘Tranquility Collection’ focused on tree bark, the ‘Fluidity Collection’ exploring water reflections, ‘Summer Bliss’ capturing seaside memories, ‘Fragility’ celebrating sand fractures, and ‘Solidity’ inspired by rock patterns—are designed to bring peace and balance into any space, be it a home, office, or retreat. Wendy believes that connecting with nature through art can inspire gratitude and a deeper appreciation for the world around us, filling interiors with a unique sense of serenity.

Wendy’s work has been exhibited in respected galleries and art spaces across New South Wales, including solo and group exhibitions with IAVA and other leading organisations. Her commitment to sharing nature-inspired abstract art is reflected in her growing collector base and ongoing creative practice.
