An adventure in brown, ochre, white and black! "Dominion" is a landscape image born of playful, chance marks. With landscape in general in mind I chose the limited palette to see where I could take things. I like the way this painting is suggestive of landscape without being over descriptive. I can feel myself making these marks when I look at the painting.
