Artwork Description

Etching on paper

Signed and numbered on the back.

The Tamar Wetlands was the inspiration for this one. The clump of trees stood alone among a sea of reeds dotted with swans and cygnets. At dusk, with the reeds leaning gently in the breeze, I quickly noted the composition. The reeds, as well as being home for countless birds, provide a nice sense of movement within this square image. It has a maximum 2cm of paper around the image.
