“FLOWER LIFE GOLD AND BLUE “is an X-Large ( 168 x 168 cm is an original statement painting by Wendy Moore. It is inspired by the colours and forms I have been photographing and drawing on my travels around Queensland .
“This artwork focuses on the colours found in the garden and landscape; I use my iPhone to edit and enhance photos inspiring the painting process. I also look at forms and movements in nature. This painting is painted in mixed colours with the focus on BRIGHT YELLOW with touches of GOLD METALLIC PAINT . It is on a Natural Linen primed canvas. I have left parts of the beautiful natural linen to form part of the painting.
I enjoy the process of using and mixing colours to create a large vibrant painting with layers of underpainting with contrasting flat areas.
