“ FLOWER LIFE IN OXIDE AND BLUE”is an X-large original statement painting by Wendy Moore. It is inspired by the colours and forms I have been photographing and drawing on my travels around Queensland .FLOWER LIFE IN OXIDE AND BLUE“focuses on the colours found in the garden and landscape; I use my iPhone to edit and enhance photos inspiring the painting process. I also look at forms and movements in nature. This painting is painted in mixed blues and oxides with touches of other colours with a natural linen background ;I have left parts of the beautiful natural linen to form part of the painting.
I enjoy the process of using and mixing colours to create a large vibrant painting with layers of underpainting with contrasting flat areas.
This painting is sealed with artists varnish
