It is inspired by the colours and forms I have been photographing and drawing on my travels around Queensland . “FLOWERS IN NATURE ”focuses on colours found in the landscape; also looking at forms and movements in nature. This painting is painted on beautiful natural linen in colours of greens ,coral pink , vermilion and a touch of blue.In this painting I have let the natural linen shine through using stokes of colours against the natural background. I enjoy the process of using and mixing colours to create a large vibrant painting with layers of underpainting with contrasting flat areas.
