Artist Bio

Welcome friend, I've been hoping like mad that you would pop by.

I picked up the brushes again after being infatuated at school and I am loving this wild ride.

Painting and (nature) grounds me in ways nothing else can and so it is my therapy and I love it.

I am so big on this that I wish everyone would pick up a brush or dig out some texture from a pot with their finger and scrape it across the canvas.

With child like wonder I experiment and dabble away in my soul filled studio. escaping the wild world and emerging hours later even more alive than ever.

My style is ever changing as is the changing seasons of my life and personality. It depends on the weather, my mood, the vibe, those around me and how I wake up each day although vibrant, abstract textured florals and calming beach jetties are my current go to.

I connect with the vibrancy of florals and the calmness of the turquoise seas which both feature strongly in my collection.

Abstract is the funnest though - is that even a word? Insert happy face. With the freedom to express and a desire to share joy and positivity with you, the collector, I hope you find the art an addition to your life in ways you didn't even think possible.

I do this through the power of colour, an energetic vibrational force that does have an effect on us all when we tune in.

I ask you to take a moment and soak up the energy that I infused into the painting of your choice while I created it. You will feel this magnetism that draws you in. What does it want to tell you? Yes they do talk. Trust this. Trust your intuition. It is very powerful,

Each painting is a piece of my heart poured out onto the canvas with a desire to make a positive difference on a larger scale.

While I currently run some paintng workshops, my hope one day is to travel to country areas and deliver retreats and workshops for those that cannot access such services so easily.

You see I grew up in country South Australia and now reside in a seaside suburb of Adelaide. So I am connected to the country people. We holiday in the country as often as we can.

I'm Mum to 2 spirited teenage boys and cats named Dory and Nemo (wasn't my choice- see the beginning of this sentence and think back about 10 years , ha ha ) I am a beach loving sensitive pisces and a proud Abba tragic from the early 80's.

I truly hope my art touches you, cleanses your soul, invigorates, uplifts, renews and refreshes.

In happiness and art
